Kiwanis Youth Orchestra
Yes! In the 1950s, Fresno boasted a Kiwanis Youth Orchestra. That group, in fact, was the original youth orchestra in Fresno, and is now known more broadly as the Youth Orchestras of Fresno.

So far identified: male cellist in front ("with all the teeth showing") is James Heagy. Man in back is Malcolm Davison, Heagy's cello teacher and also the group's conductor. Beside him is bassist Linda Hamilton. Flutist Eddie Street (wearing glasses) is directly behind the blonde cellist; next boy flutist to the right in the photo had the last name of Whitten; girl cellist (glasses) in the front is likely Paula Mazuski.
